Mark Uchendu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and member of the President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation in the South East has said that majority of the Igbo people see Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a dictator who does not deserve their support.
Uchendu, who hails from Imo State said Buhari has not changed since his dictatorial days as he pans to jail opponents "like he did as a military President, so it will be difficult to get the support of our sons and daughters in Igbo land because we believe in democracy which President Goodluck Jonathan represents."
He also added: "we have observed that Buhari will never change, he still believes that he is a military man and that is why Nigerians will not vote for him. The Presidential candidate of the APC said in Port Harcourt that he would jail corrupt Nigerians. As usual he is talking like a dictator that he is. He does not appreciate the rule of law."
